Day 02:- Drive to Pokhara (820M), explore lakeside in the evening (7 Hours Drive):-
If the hotel will be able to prepare our breakfast before we head to tourist bus station to catch our transport. The drive is pleasuring through beautiful countryside of this country. The road mostly takes on nearby the thundering rivers that might give us some views of rafters enjoying another part of Nepal. We will be driving via several green hills with views of houses and villages in the cliffs. We will be also welcomed by snowy peaks from the distance in some places. It's beautiful drive though the road condition is not good everywhere. We will basically have two stops for snacks and lunch along the way. Finally, after reaching Pokhara bus station we will take a cab to drive to hotel. If time permits then we can walk around local markets and lakeside in the evening.
Day 3:- Pokhara to Deurali (2100m/3hrs):-
You drive to the trailhead, the route fromPhedi or Kande is a good one and very few trekkers choose to start the trek from here. The trail is good, first slowly up, then a bit steeper to Australian Camp (or Dhampus ), then after an early lunch slightly uphill to Pothana (1950m) and the ACAP / TIMS checkpoint, then up again to Deurali (2100m). And then overnight at Lodge.
Day 4:- Deurali to Forest Camp (2600m/4 hours):-
There is a right turn in Deurali signposted “Forest Camp” the trail is through jungle, at first up then undulating on the top of a ridge, there is a section just over half way where the trail drops steeply and then slowly gains height and then back onto the ridge and into Forest Camp (2600m) after about 4 hour trekking. There are now few lodges in Forrest Camp. Simple but clean so again a good choice.
Day 05:- Forest Camp to Low Camp (3035m/4 Hours):-
We will have to walk inside the forest for another day but as we reach higher the vegetation changes with more rhododendron trees. This is another pleasant day for us letting us walk in the peaceful route. The trail is steep at the beginning however changes to gradual climbing after awhile. We will have some random views of snowy Himalayan peaks. The view of Machhapuchhre peak is superb from Low Camp. This is very small places with only couple of lodges opened for providing basic meals and accommodation to trekkers.
Day 06:- Low Camp to High Camp (3590m/4 Hours):-
We have another pleasant walking here with stunning views of close Himalayas in front of us. As we climb higher the route also becomes open and spacious as there is no forest anymore. The trail continues through grasslands of high region with occasional rhododendron trees. Spotting the beautiful bird called Himalayan Monal; also known as the impeyan monal, impeyan pheasant and danphe in Nepali is easy around here. This is a colorful Himalayan bird represented as the national bird of Nepal. Finally, we will arrive to High Camp to spend a night here.
DAY 07:- Hike to Upper View Point (4200m), back to High Camp (4.5 Hours):-
We will wake up early in the morning before the sun rises. The plan is to watch sunrise over the Himalayas. We will then return back to lodge where we will be served with our breakfast. We have time to rest before we start hiking up to the upper view point for magnificent views of close Himalayan peaks. The trail heading to Upper View Point is well marked through the grassland involves few steep sections. In overall this is moderate walk, not too easy and not too challenging as well. In summer season this area is full of yaks and sheep along with several yak herder's huts. There are some narrow and steep trails that extensive care is required.
Day 8:- High Camp to Forest Camp (2600m/4 hours):-
This day, we trek down to Forest Camp. We stopped for tea at Low Camp then continued on down to Forest Camp arriving there after around 4 hours trekking. And then overnight at Lodge.
Day 9:- Forest Camp to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring) via Landruk (1780m/5 hours):-
This day, we trek down to Landruk and New Bridge. From New Bridge, the trail is gradual up to Jhinu Danda. This afternoon, we relax on natural hot spring. It takes 5 hours walking from Forest Camp to Jhinu Danda & enjoys Hot Spring, then overnight at Lodge Jhinu Dada.
Day 10:- Jhinu Danda to Nayapul (1070M), drive to Pokhara (6 Hours/1 Hour Drive):-
We descend down to New Bridge & flow Modi River. The trail is pretty flat all the way to Nayapul with small and short gradual ups and downs. We will be walking on the right of Modi Khola until we reach Birenthanti, where Modi Khola meets Bhurundi Khola coming from another side.
